Mr. King, Northb Springs’ head of the Visual and Performing Arts department, annd director of the fall theatre production, announced on Saturday that the North Springs theatre production of Frankenstein won the region championship (Region 6-AAAAA) and has advanced to State next month!
In addition, Moira Poh and Joe Dean were name Best Actress and Best Actor, and Matthew Szabo and Yulie Maimon were named to All-Star cast!

Mr. Owens, also with the theatre department, added, “Our students were rock stars today! Not only did they basically sweep the awards, they were also gracious, kind, and so welcoming to the other three schools in attendance (we hosted). I could not be more proud of how they represented North Springs today. Congratulations to Mr. King! I know it has been hard to get back in the groove of making theatre, but you did an outstanding job with Frankenstein. Really great work.
