 One movie I recommend is “Rogue”. It is a movie about a female agent that rescued the governor’s daughter from sex trafficking. What I really loved about the movie is how throughout every scene they underestimated the agent and questioned her leadership. The plot twist is at the very end where she got the governor’s daughter out alive and rescued herself too. I recommend this movie for any woman or girl that has an alpha personality or does not like to sit quiet in the back of a room. I am not one to watch movies over again if I know the outcome, but “Rogue” is a movie that I will cuddle up with next to somebody, make popcorn, and have a good time.

 Out of all the movies I have decided to watch, “Rogue” is one I could not pass by. Sex trafficking is still very recent; the news is just not in our face about the recent victims. Putting that aspect in a movie can go either way. It is a very emotional topic and it is a harder topic adding it into an entertainment series.  The way the director Gareth Edwards, filmed it was he had little girls sex trafficked out of this little barn and of course people are looking for them, but he added the governor’s daughter. Which makes whatever happens to that group of girls important to everybody. 

The lead character, Samantha was a confident and respected agent. She was not apart of any police department or FBI, but an off the grid system where only certain people could hire her. From a person watching it from outside the screen she showed traits any little girl would want to have. At the end of the day stereotypes still stand. Her leadership was questioned and men thought they could still do better, but that pushed her more. If I could see the movie with no history on it, I would.
