This past Tuesday, February 3rd, the North Springs Spartans basketball team, took on their biggest rival, the Riverwood Raiders to conclude their regular season. The girl’s varsity team played at 5:30 PM, while the boys played at 7:00 PM. Unfortunately, the turnout for both games was not what the Spartans wanted, but they still fought very hard.
Julia Rosenthal, a 10th grader, went to the game and said, “I always love going to the North Springs basketball games, and I especially love going to the games against Riverwood. The Riverwood and North Springs games are always so fun and loud and spirited! I love going out and supporting my Spartans.”
The atmosphere and crowd at the game was so alive and vivid that you could feel the tremors of the bleachers. The crowd was loud and cheerful and represented their respective teams.
Boys and girls Varsity basketball team will be starting regionals this upcoming Friday the 6th. They will be competing against Cast High School at Creek View High School.
